Arizona artist Robert Peters spent several years painting and raising
horses in Colorado. But, it was another range that inspired this
painting. A herd of bison graze peacefully on the wildflower dotted
plains that lead to the Tetons in the distance. This land was a mecca
for the massive animals who are "knee deep" in luxurious grass and
colorful spring wildflowers - all well before man made his Western
thrust. |
