Texas artist Ragan Gennusa is well known for his longhorn paintings. In addition, he played football for the University of Texas Longhorns, quarterbacking in the late 60s. His use of light and his ability to capture both longhorns and horses accurately and also beautifully, make his work unique. Cattle drives and stampedes capture his fancy as they allow him to feature his subjects in action.
