This dramatic painting has been swirling in Larry Dyke's imagination for several years. Early in 2005, he painted a miniature of the scene working out many of the details before beginning the large, 40" x 30" oil painting. His addition of a lone fisherman gives the viewer a "feel" for the scale of the falls. This is truly an unusual piece made up of neutral colors, but with drama and exquisite beauty.
