Walk Through the Valley by Larry Dyke ~ “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me: Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” PSALMS 23:4 Larry Dyke set out to depict God’s caring and His watchful eye as He is always present with us even through the most difficult periods just as He has promised. The Shepherd of Life never leaves the side of His children. Even the shadow of death is but a temporary illusion. These dark periods are represented by the rugged terrain and dark shadows of the valley. But, always in the background, there is the Lord and His provision for us represented here by the waterfall and the Great Shepherd , which is hidden within this painting, as He leads His flock through the dark valley below. “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” JOHN 10:29
