A Parisian Carousel by Christa Kieffer ~ The carousel is one of Ms. Kieffer’s favorite daytime themes. On her visits to Paris she is always enchanted by the excitement of the children, their squeals of delight – and of course, the romantic nature of the moment. Painting “le belle epoque” as she does, she has the additional fun of adding turn-of-the-century costuming to the scene.
